If you live in Ontario, and endured February, you also had to endure a lot of winter complaining. You will not get that from me. Winter for me is a time to get some work done.
For the past few weeks, I have been hauling small canvasses over to the house, working up a drawing and then going back to the studio to paint. It is like having the best of both worlds…one is reality, and the other is whatever you want it to be. It is work, but it is really fun too.
Now that the paintings are done, I am back at making new dishes, and the lights for my new pool room. I don’t have a billiards table yet, and don’t know how to play the game, but I do know that you have to have good lights to illuminate a civilized game. It is not the first time I have put the cart before the horse.
Our spring exhibition is in the making. Time to put another log on the fire. With any luck, part of the spring exhibition will be in the pool room, table or not. You won’t have to cue up either.
Cheers,
