Spring in Lonsdale has been lovely. We had a great group of guests for the Spring Exhibition in May, and my thanks go out to all of you for your support and interest in the new works. It was great to talk with friends, and get caught up after a cold winter.
Since then, nature has shown its power. The new growth is always wonderful, and this year the lilacs were spectacular…something to live up to. I am a follower in life that “less is more”. But when nature decides that it wants “more” I have to adjust, agree and just enjoy the splendid show.
The last frost is behind us; the sets are in the garden and rain is on the way. Rhubarb and asparagus is abundant, and today we have the first crunchy leaves in salad bowls. Not bad!
